We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D department for an exiting and cutting edge technology position. The company is located in Rehovot, Israel.
Job description Working as a member of the Mechanical Team at CollPlant you will:
• Develop 3DP processes in various printing technologies
• Design 3DP tissue-regenerative implants using advanced CAD tools
• Plan, execute, and analyze mechanical tests
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory documents
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (internal and external)
Education and experience requirements
• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Ph.D. – Advantage)
• Hands-on industry experience of at least 3 years
• Experience with 3D bio-printing and resin-based printing
• Solves technical problems, understands, and meets project timelines
• Interest in scientific and interdisciplinary work
• Deep understanding of the material science of 3D printed parts – Advantage
• Previous knowledge and experience in Finite Element Analysis – Advantage
• Good programming skills in Python, Matlab, or similar – Advantage
• Experience with (or development) of AI tools, automation algorithms and tools, optimization tools, or DoE method and software – Advantage
